We are proud to celebrate the success of our Big Green Picnic initiative, delivered in partnership with the charity Dementia Adventure to challenge dementia stigma and harness the therapeutic power of the outdoors.

Across the country, including fantastic events hosted by our Camberley & Woking and Aylesbury Vale & Chiltern teams at locations like Wendover Christian Centre gardens, Clients, CareGivers, and local neighbours came together to enjoy nature and meaningful connection.

Initiatives like this reflect our core commitment to person-centred care, ensuring people living with dementia stay active, supported, and engaged in their local communities.

Following the first month of the new administration, the British Franchise Association reached out to leaders across the UK franchise sector to gather their insights on key policy priorities.

We are proud that our CEO, Lucy Campbell, was invited to share Right at Home UK’s perspective on the future of social care.

Lucy highlighted a sense of cautious optimism regarding the government’s early focus on social care, while emphasising what is truly needed to achieve lasting change:

"The real test will be whether that ambition translates into meaningful, properly funded reform... achieving that requires honest conversations about funding and the impact of additional costs on providers. It is vital that those conversations include the people receiving care, the workforce and the full range of organisations delivering it, including independent providers, franchise businesses and SMEs."

The Right at Home Maidenhead, Marlow & Henley team recently gathered alongside their families by the river for their annual summer BBQ under the sunshine. It was a fantastic afternoon filled with great food, riverside activities like feeding the local geese, and wonderful conversations that showcased the close-knit, supportive culture within the franchise.
