When the government tries to take half of each new pound a person earns through their hard work, that person will often resist. That’s not complicated, that’s common sense, though not so obvious to politicians apparently.

Headlines are being written at the moment about millionaires wanting to pay more tax.

If they to donate extra tax then there is a mechanism to do so as per the instructions below (spoiler: none of them have so donated).

We may think we have it tough, but this letter is from my father’s firm 53 years ago explaining to clients the introduction of VAT for the first time in the UK.

Two years earlier he’d had to explain the introduction of decimalisation!

A little walk this pleasant evening along the promenade then allowed me to visit The Venue Kirkcaldy for an aperitif outside before heading to Sushi bar Samurai Kirkcaldy to pick up some freshly made starter for dinner. The walk home allowed for a brief hello BArty's and past the ongoing work on a new Sauna and coffee venue Un:Wynd Kirkcaldy
Always lots of energy going into small businesses in Kirkcaldy if we just take a moment to have a look. These businesses owners deserve our support.
