Was in the village garden today by the park got to say a massive thanks to the gardening club who look after the garden took some flower pictures

Also please a polite reminder to use the bins outside for the rubbish there are new bins for the park on the way buf please keep it tidy enjoy the sun BE SAFE EVERYONE

Hi my name is Peter Adams and I am currently Vice Chair of the Kilgetty and Begelly Community Council (KBCC) which cover areas such as Reynalton, Thomas Chapel, Begelly and also Kilgetty, and we are on the lookout for new members. The community council currently has 6 vacancies for our council, and would very much like to hear from anyone who may be interested in becoming more involved in community matters. The only commitment asked, is for a monthly meeting at the Kilgetty community centre on the second Thursday of the month to assist in decision making in the community, apart from the summer break which is usually in August when there is no meeting. BUS SERVICE CHANGES

A number of bus service changes will be introduced at the end of March in time for the Easter school holidays.

This includes summer service enhancements in the St Davids area and between Tenby and Pendine, a new timetable on the Haverfordwest to Broad Haven service, and several other changes to services in the Haverfordwest area.

The open topped Tenby Coaster between Tenby and Saundersfoot will also be returning for the Easter weekend.

Amber Weather warning for
Monday 1st December

The Met office has issued an Amber warning and based on the most up to date forecasting are predicting low likelihood of high impacts.

Headline: Heavy rain is forecast for Wales on Monday, and may result in disruption.

Further Forecast Details:

An area of heavy rain is expected to move over south Wales between late Sunday and late Monday. Whilst rainfall amounts will vary, some heavy and persistent rainfall is likely to fall, especially over high ground. Rain should clear to the east Monday night.

20-40 mm of rain will fall extensively across the wider region, but 60-80 mm is expected to accumulate over some south and southwest-facing high ground in south Wales, with a few places perhaps seeing nearer 100-120 mm. In addition to the potential for flooding impacts, this increases the chance of landslides on both natural and infrastructure slopes.

Strong south to south westerly winds will also accompany the heavy rain, with gales possible around coasts and over high ground.

Our teams have been taking preventative action, however, with the extent of the rain that is expected to fall in short bursts onto already saturated grounds, it is likely that our communities will experience localised flooding, leading to potential widespread travel disruption.

For some context, Wales has already had 44% more rain than average (this figure does not yet cater for yesterday's rainfall).
