Chorley Community Business Breakfast is a quarterly event, with all proceeds going to local charities.

At our first event we'll be sharing advice about finance and accounts as a result of the Autumn Budget and all ticket sales will go to supporting local charity The Joanne Ratcliffe Foundation , working with local primary schools in Chorley to provide a little extra Christmas sparkle to families who need it the most.

The new self-assessment registration service has launched 🚀

HMRC has launched an improved online service to make it easier for individuals to register for self-assessment.

The new service is available through a Personal Tax Account and includes pre-populated information, online support during registration and the ability to save and return without losing information.

🌟 UNDER-17s SPOTLIGHT 🌟

This season marks a huge milestone for Accrington Stanley Women as we introduce our very first Under-17s team and what a start they’ve made!

Many of these players have grown and developed together, becoming four-time County Cup champions under coaches Andy Kelly and Ryan Jones. Now, aged mostly 15 and 16, the team is preparing for that important transition into open-age football.

At such a crucial stage, we’re incredibly proud to help these talented young women stay in the game, stay active and continue achieving together.

They’ve begun their league campaign with two wins from two, including an outstanding 10–1 victory over local rivals Wigan. Five of those goals came from our 2025/26 Club Player of the Season, Jess Kelly! ⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽

Some eagle-eyed followers noticed that this week’s result wasn’t included in our club round-up as we wanted to give the team the spotlight they deserve and celebrate everything they bring to our club.

The girls have also recently attracted fantastic local sponsors and will soon be proudly wearing their brand-new kits, reflecting the fantastic belief our community has shown in them.
