📱 “Can I put my phone through the business?”

It’s one of those questions that sounds like it should have a simple yes or no answer… but (as is often the case with tax!) the answer is: it depends.

If you use your phone for work, you may be able to claim some or all of the cost. What you can claim will depend on things like whether the contract is in your name or the business’s name, and how the phone is being used.

The important bit? Don’t assume something isn’t claimable and miss out, but equally, don’t assume you can put the whole bill through.
