reports to produce project costings by contract rates - instead of actual rates from their mainframe systems. This had been an essential requirement for their largest customer and outstanding for many months prior to me joining the team. I report to the senior project accountant and head of financial reporting. Prior to this in 2011 I completed 5 years working for a large US based global insurance company working in the global application development team. I was responsible for producing the project financials and budget preparation with senior managers. I was appointed manager of the SOX testing and reporting team and had to perform tasks to ensure the department passed its annual SOX audit. Until 2006 I was a manager of a team in a global shipping company responsible for supporting the management accounts team with accounting and IT services – ensuring the daily, weekly and monthly processes of the finance systems were maintained and run according to strict deadlines.
