Pleasure to be on a fantastic and informative panel event held last week at Taza - "Property and Poppadoms" - all things property related and good food afterwards!

Key takeaway was definitely having the correct company structure from day one, with robust documents covering all aspects of the business.

I did my first MTD submission through FreeAgent today...

I'd built it up in my head that it was going to be fiddly, but it genuinely took a couple of minutes.

Clicked submit... waited... and almost straight away - **Successful**. ✅

I think I spent longer worrying about it than actually doing it!

To make things even better, my FreeAgent account manager is on holiday this week, so if it had all gone wrong I'd have had nobody to phone and blame anyway... 😂

Fair play to FreeAgent though, it just worked. Sometimes software actually does what it's supposed to do.

"Main Event" presentation slot at BNI this morning, nervous but got it done and got some wrestling trivia in there too!

"I wanted to tell stories about wrestling growing up, but instead I tell stories about numbers. It's all the same though, instead of battling Triple H or John Cena, you're battling HMRC. It's just a little less violent."

Took my belt back as reigning defending heavyweight weekly presentation champion too.

BNI St. Andrews full steam ahead with the official launch today - and asked to take on the role of Chapter Secretary/Treasurer as we establish responsibilities and roles.

Exciting times ahead for all concerned!

Despite the cold, dark, icy mornings - very much enjoying BNI meetings each Wednesday morning. The wealth of knowledge and experience in the room is invaluable.
