DAERA has announced the 2026/27 Rural Business Development Grant Scheme to support rural micro-businesses across the North 💷

The grant offers 50% funding for capital items, up to a maximum of £7,500 🧾
(Open to rural businesses with fewer than 10 employees)

⚫ New business equipment
⚫ Mobile machinery – e.g. forklifts, scissor lifts
⚫ Storage containers
⚫ Computer equipment – laptops, printers etc
⚫ E-commerce or IT upgrades to support online sales
