Just wondering if you spotted the increase in HMRC mileage rates from 45p to 55p. The first change since 2011!!!

We are looking for a part-time payroller.

Ideally someone with lots of prior experience.

Might suit someone returning to work and/or semi retired but looking to fill some time. Flexibility around working hours is essential as the role is reactive to clients needs.

Full variety of weekly, fortnightly, four weekly and monthly payrolls, some small, some easy, some large, some complex.

Must be available on Mondays and Fridays and some intermittent time during the week to deal with the odd issue that arises.

Tidy air-conditioning / dehumidifier install this morning. I’ve been finding that, despite the noise of the machine this has meant that we don’t fatigue anywhere near as much during the day and can therefore get more work done. Good for us, good for you!

❗BASE RATE ANNOUNCEMENT❗

A reduction in the Bank of England Base Rate, whilst welcomed, does not have an immediate impact on mortgage holders. Those on fixed-rate mortgages won’t see an immediate change. When they come to the end of their fixed-rate deal the ‘rate shock’ may not be as bad as previously feared.
