You may have seen this on the news today however unfortunately it happens time and time again up and down the country. The mother in the care home had lost mental capacity and the family did not have a Health & Welfare Power of Attorney set up. This unfortunately means they have no say on their own family members care. Due to the restrictions the daughter took her mother out of the care home to look after her herself before being arrested.
