BNI is a structured referral network where business professionals meet regularly, build trust and actively look for opportunities to recommend one another. A single visit could introduce you to potential clients, trusted suppliers, strategic partners and people who already know the type of customers you want to reach. BNI describes visiting a chapter as an opportunity to experience referrals in action and meet members who can help you grow your business.
β WHAT TO EXPECT
At the meeting, youβll have the opportunity to:
π€ Meet local business owners and professionals from a range of industries.
π€ Introduce yourself and explain what makes your business different.
π€ Learn how members generate business through trusted referrals.
π€ Discover which businesses and professions are already represented.
π€ Identify potential clients, collaborators and referral partners.
Experience a welcoming, focused and time-efficient networking meeting.
You donβt need to commit to joining simply by visiting. Come along, meet a group of more than 35 business owners from various sectors and see whether BNI could help you create more opportunities

Are you making the most of trivial benefits?
If you run a limited company, trivial benefits can be a simple and tax-efficient way to reward yourself and your employees.
To qualify, the benefit must:
β¨ Cost Β£50 or less
β¨ Not be cash or a cash voucher
β¨ Not be provided as part of an employee's contractual entitlement
β¨ Not be given in exchange for work or performance.
Examples of trivial benefits can include:
β¨ A meal out
β¨ Flowers or a bottle of wine
β¨ A birthday gift
β¨ Chocolates or a hamper
β¨ Tickets to an event (provided the cost falls within the limit)
Used correctly, trivial benefits can be a great way to extract value from your company without creating an additional tax liability.
Need help understanding what you can claim? OLP Accountants are here to help.
