Something exciting is happening at Parc Lôn Las — and it’s all about creating a vibrant activity hub for our community.

The refurbished MUGA is already bringing people together, with football goals, marked courts for football, four pickleball courts, and a tennis court. The tennis net will be set up later this week, ready for free community use.

But the centrepiece of the new project is something truly special:

🤩A huge community mural beneath a brand‑new basketball court!🏀

This currently underused tarmac space will be transformed into a bright, modern, energetic canvas that reflects the creativity and identity of Llangefni. The basketball hoops — generously provided by Basketball Wales — will be arriving soon, helping us build a space that inspires movement, connection, and pride.

📢 Making Tax Digital for Income Tax starts April 2026 – are you ready?

From April 2026, HMRC will introduce Making Tax Digital (MTD) for Income Tax for many self-employed individuals and landlords with total business or property income over £50,000. If this applies to you, you’ll need to:

✔️ Keep digital records
✔️ Use MTD-compatible software
✔️ Submit quarterly updates to HMRC
✔️ File a final end-of-year declaration

From April 2027, this will extend to those earning over £30,000, so it’s important to start preparing now.
