**📣 We’re looking for the right person to join JS Accountancy**
JS Accountancy is a small, independent accountancy practice specialising in farming and rural businesses.
We’re looking for someone to join our small team and become an important part of the continued development of the practice.
For us, attitude is more important than qualifications or experience. We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic, keen to learn, willing to take responsibility and happy to get involved.
The role will be varied and we’re deliberately keeping it fairly open. There will be a mixture of accountancy and HMRC compliance work, along with some involvement in the day-to-day running and management of the practice.
We’re happy to support someone looking to train and develop their accountancy career, as well as considering someone who already has relevant experience.
Our clients are predominantly farmers, landowners and rural businesses, so an understanding of and genuine interest in the farming and rural community is important. You don’t need to come from a farming background, but you should be comfortable in that environment and interested in the people and businesses we work with.
We’re looking for someone who is:

• Organised and takes pride in their work
• Comfortable dealing with clients
• Able to use their own initiative
• Keen to develop and take on responsibility
• Comfortable in a farming and rural environment
