Look out for this:

1) Have you had an open pension scheme into which you could have contributed in previous years?

2) Are previous years allowances reduced due to high income taper , MPAA or contributions?

3) Does the tapered annual allowance apply due to high income?

4) Does the Money Purchase Annual Allowance apply due to taking income from the pension

5) Are your contributions from the business sensible in line with wholly and exclusively rules for corporation tax relief?

These are all important things to consider!

And your calculations must be correct incase Hos Majesty comes a’knocking.
