We are currently looking for a bookkeeper to join our team based at our Canvey Island office.

• Knowledge of Quickbooks, Xero, Sage Line 50, Sage One (desirable but accreditation can be gained at MH)
• Knowledge of Excel
• Bank reconciliations, sales, purchase, VAT, PAYE controls, etc.
• Completion and filing of VAT returns, knowledge of MTD and Domestic Reverse charge required
• Completion and filing of CIS returns
• Completion and posting of wages journals
• Must be happy to work on a variety of clients (i.e. hairdressers, construction, retail) with varying methods of keeping and sending records and varying accounting requirements
• Part time position 20-24 hours per week
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays pro-rated
• Office based position (although flexible regarding WFH)
