I doubt many Year 11 students understand what a Financial Planner is, I know I certainly didn’t, so hopefully I’ll be able to teach them a few things🙌🏼

I’ll be trying my best to not get mistaken for a student 😂

We had a fantastic day on Friday at Farnworth Rose Solicitors Golf Day in aid of Pendleside Hospice ⛳️🏌️‍♂️

The weather wasn’t so great but we managed to battle through. Thanks to Hadrian Thorne, Toby Burrows and George Rammy for joining me, we had a good laugh if nothing else!

3rd place and Nearest Pin meant enough red w**e to get me through the weekend 😉

Same again next year 👏🏼 Thank you Farnworth Rose 🙌🏼

A massive well done to Padiham FC U9 Reds who got their season off to a winning start yesterday 🙌🏼

Their new kit looks really good and I’m very proud to sponsor a team who’s home pitch is the Fenny Fold, a place where I spent a lot of my childhood playing football ❤️

🚨 What does your retirement look like? 🚨

Over the last few weeks, I have been helping various clients map out what their retirement situation looks like with the help of cash flow modelling systems.

Often I find that people make their own retirement decisions based on rough calculations, or maybe they presume they have to work up until state pension age.

Last week, I was able to demonstrate to a new client that she could afford to retire at age 63. Previously to working together, she believed she was going to have to work up until age 67 when she received her state pension 🙌🏼

I’ve also helped another client understand that she can reduce her working hours to three days from five, without it having much impact on her long term retirement plan ✅

Protection Review

I can’t stress enough how important it is to make sure that you have the appropriate cover in place to protect you and your family 🏡👫

I myself this week have reviewed what protection I had in place and made and noticed that I had quite a shortfall.
