Trainee Office Administrator/Bookkeeper

A position has become available based at our office on the high street in Portishead.

The role involves looking after the office, liasing with clients, filing and bookkeeping.

We are looking for a bright organised person who has plenty of common sense and a can do approach to problems. Formal professional qualifications are not essential as we will consider someone qualified by experience.

The ideal person will have a minimum grade B or above in GCSE Maths and English and have experience of using excel. Experience of using digital bookkeeping software such as Quickbooks, Zero or Clearbooks an advantage (although training can be given).

In return we can offer flexibility of hours, paid holiday, contribution into a pension and a pleasant working environment.

Salary will be commensurate with experience.

We are looking for a bright organised person who has plenty of common sense and a can do approach to problems. Formal professional qualifications are not essential as we will consider someone qualified by experience. We can offer training.
The ideal person will have a minimum grade B or above in GCSE Maths and English, be interested in starting/progressing their career in bookkeeping, have experience of using excel and digital bookkeeping software such as Quickbooks, Zero or Clearbooks (although training can be given) and is keen to learn.
In return we can offer flexibility of hours, paid holiday 20 days plus bank holidays pro rata a year, contribution into NEST pension scheme and a pleasant working environment.
