Big changes are coming for sole traders!

Meet Lucy, a self-employed baker who’s used to doing her tax return once a year. From April 2026, that all changes - Making Tax Digital (MTD) means she’ll need to:

✅ Send quarterly updates to HMRC
✅ Use MTD-compatible software

I can hardly believe how quickly the time has flown. When I started this journey four years ago, I wasn’t one of those people who always dreamed of running their own business.
