This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional, ideally with public sector and/or LGPS experience, looking to step into a senior leadership role within a supportive, values‑driven organisation.

We are seeking a highly qualified individual with…
• A professional accountancy qualification from a CCAB member body, preferably CIPFA, and current membership with up-to-date CPD.
• Significant professional experience in public sector finance, ideally within Local Government or the Local Government Pension Scheme.
• A proven track record in translating strategic objectives into operational plans and managing staff in a financial environment.

Earlier this month, as part of the Tour De Partnership challenge, Border to Coast Chief Stakeholder Officer Ewan McCulloch cycled almost 1,300km in just 11 days, visiting every Partner Fund along the way. Inspired by Ewan's incredible achievement, SYPA colleagues set out to collectively match his target through our office pedal challenge and later put their Border to Coast location-themed knowledge to the test in a virtual quiz.

We're delighted to share that together we:

❤️ Supported Sheffield Children's Hospital Charity
