Our communities have always been a big part of who we are at JC, so as we celebrate 90 years, it’s been great to give something back.

Earlier this year, our teams in Forfar, Inverurie and Dundee got involved in a mix of local volunteering, from litter picks to sprucing up outdoor spaces for community groups and charities.

Brilliant to see so many people getting stuck in already, with plenty more still to come.

We’re very proud to celebrate 89 promotions across Johnston Carmichael this month!

Each one reflects the expertise and commitment of our people, who consistently go above and beyond to make an impact for our clients and colleagues. As we mark our 90th anniversary year, investing in our people remains central to our approach and it’s exciting to see the talent we continue to build.

Among our well-deserved promotions are one new Partner and six new Directors, strengthening our leadership, growing expertise across sectors like Tech and Rural, and building momentum in key regions like the Highlands and Moray, where our Elgin office continues to play a vital role in our long-term growth.

What a day! ☀️

Our ‘Chartered Akiltants’ took on the Aberdeen Kiltwalk on Sunday, walking from Banchory to Duthie Park in support of so many brilliant charities.

With 5,500 walkers raising funds for 500 different causes, it was amazing to be part of something so special alongside the wider Kiltwalk community.

We’re incredibly proud of everyone who took part – and as Gold Sponsors, we’re delighted to support such an inspiring event.

It was also a double celebration for us this year, marking 90 years of Johnston Carmichael and 10 years as a Gold Sponsor… and there were smiles from start to finish!
