Today was a day to experience living heritage, with the streets filled with people wearing their national costumes with pride, for the Norwegian national day. Great ambience in Trondheim. Congratulations to Norway!

Time flies here in Norway, with so many interesting things going on! The first workshop with tufting Textile lab is done, studying the equipment and materials. It was a privilege to be invited to take part in the Tekstilfest 26 there too, and hear so many inspiring presentations, not in the least about how knitting is used in airplane construction! Already more than a week has gone of my traineeship in Norway! I am working for the ULLDAGA project and , who has studied and written books about the local knitting tradition in Selbu, here close to Trondheim. We will have worshops in natural dyeing and tuftning for , local artists and .
