Contributions to a Registered Retirement Savings Plan is directly deducted from income reported on the tax return. March 1, 2021 is the last date to contribute funds to an RRSP to have the contribution used as a deduction for the 2020 Tax Return.
Remember to check your Notice of Assessment to verify the amount you are allowed to contribute without penalties.
