when I would like to retire and how long it takes me to get used to being retired. For now, the answer is never. I LOVE what I do, my job is my hobby, and I have no idea what I am going to do after retirement. In addition, the FEAR of not having the same amount of the pay cheque coming in every month, but having ALL the time in the world also cannot be ignored.

Based on my years of experience as a financial planner, my suggestion is (if possible) to transition yourself from a full-time capacity to a part-time capacity at work, so that you could spend your spare time to figure out what you would like to do in retirement and the cost associated with that lifestyle in the meanwhile you are still collecting a good portion of your pay cheque.

Of course, everyone is different. The best solution for you could be totally different than mine, reach out to me (love to assist) or at least talk to an accredited financial planner, because this is very important.
