How long have you worked at Hutcheson?
I’ve been part of the Hutcheson family for 7 years and 7 months. It’s hard to believe how quickly the time has gone by! Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally, take on new challenges, and build lasting relationships with some truly incredible people.

What is your favorite part about working at Hutcheson?
It would be impossible to pick just one favorite thing about working at Hutcheson! What stands out most is the sense of family. The people here have been part of so many of my personal and professional milestones. My senior colleagues have continuously encouraged me, challenged me to grow, and given me the confidence to pursue my goals.
At the same time, my junior teammates have been amazing—always willing to step up and support me, especially when I was studying and writing exams. Their encouragement and teamwork have played a huge role in my success, and I’m incredibly grateful for that.

What does your average weekend look like?
My perfect weekend usually starts with a long hike alongside my fur babies, Maya and Kibble, and my best friend, who also happens to be my husband. There’s nothing better than spending time outdoors together and soaking in nature. Afterward, we’ll often treat ourselves to lunch at a favorite restaurant, and the day usually winds down with a cozy movie night at home with my family.

If you could get on a plane tomorrow, where would you go?
Without a doubt, I’d choose Bhutan. I’ve always admired the country’s deep commitment to protecting the environment and its unique focus on happiness and sustainability. The tradition of planting thousands of trees to celebrate the Crown Prince’s birthday is especially inspiring to me. As the world’s only carbon-negative country, Bhutan represents values that I deeply respect, and I would love the opportunity to experience its culture and natural beauty.

What is your favorite season and why?
I enjoy every season because each brings something special, but if I had to choose, it would be fall. There’s something magical about the crisp air, vibrant autumn colors, and comfortable temperatures. It’s the perfect time to get outside, whether that’s going for a hike, exploring new places, or simply enjoying the beauty of nature before winter arrives. 🍂

I have been with Hutcheson since February 2026.

What is your favorite part about working at Hutcheson?
The nice people and flexible working hours.

What does your average weekend look like?
Gym, hiking, reading my book, and spending time with my family.

If you could get on a plane tomorrow, where would you go?
Qatar.

What is your favorite season and why?
Summer because I am a fish… heheh, jk! 🐟 I love the warm weather and swimming in the lake ☀️

Yesterday our team hit the courts at Sticky Wicket for a round of volleyball, and it was the perfect reminder that some of the best teamwork happens outside the office. From great rallies to plenty of laughs, everyone brought the energy and team spirit.

We’ve had several team members earn promotions over the past few weeks. While we couldn’t get everyone in one photo, we wanted to share a snapshot of the celebrations happening around the office.

How long have you worked at Hutcheson?
I've been with Hutcheson since January 2025.

What is your favorite part about working at Hutcheson?
I love working with such a friendly and supportive team. I also enjoy connecting with clients and helping them with their accounting and tax needs.

What does your average weekend look like?
You'll usually find me out on a hike, meeting up with friends, or watching soccer.

If you could get on a plane tomorrow, where would you go?
Spain and Portugal would be at the top of my list.

What is your favorite season and why?
I love the first half of summer in Victoria. The weather is perfect for a spontaneous adventure. (Tax season is a close second, of course!)

⚽ We tried to take a team photo during the World Cup Semi Finals... but everyone was a little more interested in the TV than the camera.
On Tuesday, we took a break from the numbers to come together as a team and catch the World Cup action. It's always nice to step away from our desks, enjoy a little downtime, and spend time together.

A few of our team headed over to Vancouver this weekend to celebrate Vidhi Thukral, CPA at the CPA convocation 🎓
Congratulations Vidhi on passing your CPA exam! Such an incredible accomplishment and we are so proud of you and all your hard work.

A little reminder to slow down, rest, and take care of yourself.

We did it!! Another tax season in the books 🙌

So many long days, late nights, and hard work, but we made it through together. We celebrated as a team at the Palms and had the best night. Feeling so grateful for our amazing group!
