After three wonderful weeks away, the Nightfall crew is officially home and we’ll be back in the office TOMORROW at 10 AM! 🎉

We had an amazing vacation, made tons of memories, spent some much-needed time with family and, most importantly...

🏰✨ Tracey got her Mickey Mouse fix, so she should be good for at least a little while. 😂🐭

(We all know it won’t last. 🤣)

As much as I love Disney — and we ALL know how much I love Disney 😂 — I’m actually excited to get back to Nightfall.

We missed you guys! 🖤

We know there are lots of emails, messages, paperwork and probably a few CRA adventures waiting for us, so please have a little patience with us over the next few days while we work through everything that came in while we were away.

When I opened Nightfall in 2023, I just wanted to create a place where people could come for help with their taxes and finances without feeling embarrassed, overwhelmed, or judged. I never imagined how quickly this little spooky business would grow or how much love our community would show us.

These awards aren’t just ours. They’re yours too.

To our amazing team, our family and friends, and every single client who has walked through our doors, sent someone our way, shared a post, left a kind word, or voted for us — THANK YOU. 🖤

Children's tug-of-war (hoping to see representation from all the Coal mining communities, as I know there is great spirit in all of them).

Don't forget your bug spray, sunscreen, a hat/head covering, a comfortable chair to sit on, and some cash for the vendors (they may not accept debit or credit). I believe Father Doug might be saying extra prayers, like all of us, that the weather will be good.

Opening ceremonies will be at 1:00 pm.

Just a little reminder that tomorrow is our LAST DAY in the office before summer vacation! ☀️🏖️

We will be open 10 AM – 5 PM tomorrow for anyone who needs to stop in, pick up paperwork, drop anything off, or get in touch with us before we close.

After that, the Nightfall crew is officially signing off for some much-needed summer vacation! 🖤🌴✨

Before the moon rises on our summer adventure, we wanted to give everyone plenty of notice!

🖤 Nightfall Bookkeeping & Taxes will be closed for our annual summer vacation from August 14th through September 7th, reopening on Monday, September 8th.

If you have bookkeeping, GST/HST, payroll, tax documents, or anything else you'd like us to complete before we leave, now is the perfect time to get it to us. The next two weeks will fill up quickly, so don't wait until the last minute!

Our regular office hours until then are:
🕙 Monday to Thursday | 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

🖤✨ WE’RE 3 YEARS OLD! ✨🖤

Okay… I’m 3 days late posting this 😂 but on August 7th, Nightfall Bookkeeping & Taxes officially turned THREE! 🎉

Three years ago, I took a chance on myself and started Nightfall.

I had no idea exactly where it would lead. I just knew I wanted to build something of my own—something where people could come for help with their taxes and bookkeeping and feel comfortable, welcomed, and never judged.

And somehow… here we are. 🥹

What started as a little business has grown into something bigger than I ever imagined. We’ve welcomed thousands of clients through our doors, grown our team, survived some absolutely crazy tax seasons 😂, celebrated wins with our clients, fought through CRA headaches together, and continued learning and growing every single year.

There have definitely been stressful days, long nights, mistakes, growing pains, and moments where I wondered what the heck I got myself into. 😂 But there have also been so many moments where I’ve stopped and thought…

I built this. We built this. 🖤

And none of it would exist without the people who trusted us.

To every single person who has walked through our door, sent us a message, recommended us to a friend or family member, shared one of our posts, left a kind review, or simply cheered us on—thank you.

And to my amazing Nightfall team and my family who have been along for this crazy ride with me—thank you for helping turn my little idea into what Nightfall is today.

I’m incredibly proud of how far we’ve come, and I’m even more excited to see where we go next.
