Today is an exciting day for our Senior Staff Accountant, Kerrie White, CPA, as we celebrate with her at this evening's CPA Newfoundland and Labrador annual convocation. The CPA Convocation officially recognizes the achievement of earning her CPA designation!

This milestone is the result of years of dedication, hard work, and perseverance, and we couldn’t be happier to celebrate Kerrie’s success.

Newfoundland and Labrador’s 2026 Budget, Opportunity for All of Us, introduces targeted tax relief for both individuals and businesses, while maintaining current personal income tax rates.

⚠️ There were no increases to personal income tax rates.

The government announced:

- Increase to the Basic Personal Amount to $15,000, reducing taxes for most individuals.
- Reduction in the small business corporate tax rate to 2.0% in 2026, with further reductions to 1.0% by 2028.
- Enhanced supports for seniors, families, and volunteers.
- Continued affordability measures, including lower gas tax and household supports.
