Know the maximum Canada Prnsion Paln (CCP) payment in 2026 and the amount the average retiree actually gets!

This is also a great info on how to check your own CCP estimate!

Canada Pension Plan (CPP) Retirement Benefits — What You Need to Know!

The maximum CPP retirement pension at age 65 in 2026 is $1,507.65 per month, but most Canadians receive significantly less. The amount you actually receive depends mainly on your earnings history, years of CPP contributions, and the age when you start collecting CPP.

The average payment cited in your material is about $925.35 per month at age 65. Reaching the maximum generally requires many years of contributions at or near the maximum pensionable earnings level. Career gaps, lower earnings, part-time work, and extended periods without contributions can reduce your benefit.

Your starting age also matters significantly. Taking CPP before 65 permanently reduces your monthly pension, while delaying it after 65 increases it. Starting at 60 can reduce your age-65 amount by up to 36%, while waiting until 70 can increase it by up to 42%.

⭐ How to Check Your Own CPP Estimate
Rather than relying on the maximum or average CPP figures, check your own personalized estimate through your My Service Canada Account (MSCA).

Your account uses your actual CPP contribution and earnings history to provide an estimate of what you may receive.
My Service Canada Account — Sign in or register

Once signed in, look for your Canada Pension Plan (CPP) information and your estimated retirement pension. You can also review your Statement of Contributions to make sure your earnings and CPP contributions are properly recorded.

Retirement planning tip: Don’t build your retirement plan around the advertised maximum CPP amount. Check your personal CPP estimate first, then consider how CPP will work together with OAS, RRSPs, TFSAs, workplace pensions, and other retirement savings.
Know your CPP number today—not when you retire.

This is a true testimony of how important it is to have a Critical Illness Coverage!

Praise God! Today, my journey as a financial advisor feels truly complete. 🙏😇

My client suffered a stroke, and today he received his $25,000 Critical Illness claim benefit. What could have been an overwhelming financial burden became lighter because he was protected.

Moments like this remind me that what we do is more than just selling insurance — it is providing financial support, peace of mind, and hope when people need it most.

From the application process to filing a successful claim, I am grateful to witness the true value of being financially prepared.

Thankful for the trust of my clients and blessed to be part of a journey that truly makes a difference in people’s lives. 🙏
