“The hardest financial skill is getting the goalpost to stop moving.” — from The Psychology of Money (Morgan Housel)
In a world that constantly tells us to want more, the real flex is learning to define what’s enough.
More income. Bigger house. New car. Better lifestyle. The target keeps shifting — and so does our peace of mind. Sometimes it’s about appreciating what you already have and building a life that aligns with your values, not someone else’s highlight reel.
When your goalposts stop moving, clarity, confidence, and contentment finally have room to grow.
What does “enough” look like for you?

Summer has a way of making every expense feel “worth it” in the moment.
One weekend trip.
A few patio nights.
Last-minute concert tickets.
Extra childcare.
More gas.
More takeout.
More “treat yourself” spending.
And suddenly September arrives with credit card debt that overstayed the season.
Enjoying summer isn’t the problem.
Going into fall financially stressed is.
A little planning now can help you enjoy the experiences without the money anxiety later.
Before summer spending picks up, ask yourself:
➡️ “Am I spending intentionally… or emotionally?”
Comment “SUMMER” if you want tips to enjoy the season without blowing the budget.

Most people think budgeting is about restriction.
But in reality… your spending already tells a story.
Coffee runs, Amazon orders, travel, takeout, fitness memberships, shopping, investments — every transaction reflects a choice and a priority.
The question is:
Are your spending habits aligned with the future you say you want?
Because building wealth isn’t about being perfect with money. It’s about becoming intentional with it.
Take a look at your last 30 days of spending and ask yourself:
➡️ “Does this reflect the life I’m trying to build?”
Comment “ALIGN” if this hit home.

Behind every plan, every goal, and every late-night “how will we make this work?” conversation… there’s usually a mother leading with love, sacrifice, and strength. 💐
Today we celebrate the moms, grandmothers, stepmoms, and mother figures who continue to show us what it means to give selflessly, plan intentionally, and build a better future for the next generation.
Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible women helping their families grow — emotionally, financially, and in every way that matters most. ❤️

Most people aren’t losing money because they’re careless… they’re losing it because they were never taught the difference. A simple switch in where you keep your money can completely change your financial future.
Are you making your money work for you — or just letting it sit?

Wishing you a Happy Easter 🐣
A long weekend, a bit of time to reset, and hopefully some good moments with family and friends.
It’s also a nice reminder that small pauses throughout the year can go a long way — not just personally, but financially too.
Enjoy the break, and we’ll be back this week with more tax conversations.
Happy Easter!

Tax mistakes don’t usually come from doing something wrong…
They come from not knowing what to do in the first place.
And every year, I see the same ones show up during tax season.
A few small decisions can make a big difference over time — especially when it comes to things like RRSPs, side income, and how you think about refunds.
