Have you heard of the Canada Dissability Benefit?
If you are between the ages of 18 & 64 and have a Disability Tax Credit on file with CRA , you might want to inquire about this program to see if you qualify for the monthly benefit.
The maximum payment you could receive from June 2025 to June 2026 is $2400 and it is non taxable.
You can go online and search the Canada Disability Benfit for more information and to apply.
CRA will begin accepting tax returns electronically once again beginning February 24, 2025.
Our Okotoks office will begin booking new appointments starting on February 25, 2025.

The last opportunity to e-file prior year tax returns is Friday, January 31, 2025 before CRA begins system maintenance.
CRA will reopen once again for e-file transmissions on February 24, 2025.

Did you know that T4’s now have a box “45” which is for employer offered dental benefits.
They can now track who’s eligible for dental coverage, but, based on the way it gets coded, it looks like they can also tell who has a spouse or dependants.
The Deadline for RRSP Contributions to be applied to your 2023 tax return is February 29, 2024.
