🔍 Understanding Capital Gains Post-June 25 📈
Although June 25th is behind us and the new capital gains inclusion rates are upon us; an annual review of gains and losses is even more crucial for individuals.
Going forward, not only should December be about about tax loss selling but there is a discussion that should be had regarding capital gain crystallization to take advantage of the lower inclusion rate.
Just be mindful of the revised alternative minimum tax (AMT) rules! 💡

🏌️♂️ Celebrating the 42nd CSL Golf Classic! 🏆
Excited to share the highlights of the 42nd CSL Golf Classic—an event in two parts due to the weather. We enjoyed a fantastic luncheon on August 8th and seized the opportunity to hit the greens on August 15th when the weather played along.
It was truly an honour to support such an amazing event! Valuable connections were forged amidst camaraderie and golf against picturesque backdrops, showcasing our community's beautiful greenspace (Meadowbrook Golf Club).
My commitment to giving back was equally impactful as we raised funds for the CSL Parks and Recreation Bursary Fund, which assists families on low incomes and with children who have special needs gain access to some of the city's programs via discreet financial assistance.
Heartfelt thanks to Lior Azerad & Dan Bhn for joining me on the greens as well as to all the other participants, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters who made this event possible. Special shoutout also to Mike Cohen, City Councillor - District 2, Côte Saint-Luc for chairing such a beautiful event!
Looking forward to the 43rd CSL Golf Classic. Here's to another year of success and growth!
