🚨 **Important Update: Disability Tax Credit (DTC) Application Process Changes** 🚨

The Canada Revenue Agency has announced important changes to the Disability Tax Credit (DTC)application process that will make submitting applications faster and more streamlined.

If you or a family member are planning to apply for the DTC, here are the key dates to remember:

📅 **Starting July 14, 2026**
❌ You will no longer be able to submit new Disability Tax Credit applications through the "Submit Documents" feature in your CRA My Account.
✅ Instead, you'll need to:
• Use the new digital DTC application form, or
• Mail your completed application to the CRA.

📅 **Starting September 8, 2026**
⚠️ The CRA will no longer accept older versions of Form T2201 that were issued before 2023. Be sure you're using the current version of the form before submitting your application.

The Disability Tax Credit can unlock more than just a tax credit. It may also increase eligibility for other valuable federal and provincial programs. We'll help you determine your eligibility and ensure you receive the maximum benefits available.
