Changes are coming to PST rules October 1. Is your business ready?
This is one of the biggest changes to PST in recent years. The tax will apply to several service businesses that have historically been exempt, including:
- Accounting services
- Architectural services
- Engineering and geoscience services
- Security services
- Non-residential real estate services
If your business provides these services, you may need to register with the Ministry of Finance.
If your business pays for these services, it's time to consider the budget impact of this change.

It is not just a spreadsheet. It is a practical planning tool that helps business owners see what is coming, understand the timing, and make better decisions before cash flow becomes stressful.
