What I learned on my first solo travel trip:

-Pack less.
-Bring a water bottle - it’s important to stay hydrated!
-If you are walking ,bring good shoes. Fashion matters but so do your feet.
-Have a bag you can pack the essentials in and carry easily all day.
-HAND SANITIZER
-Plan for delays. They will happen.
-Book your train tickets in advance or have a back up plan if it is sold out!
-Pack snacks. You will thank yourself later. And not chocolate ,it melts in the heat!
-Don’t sweat the small stuff!
-Have cash, just in case!
-When locals offer to show you around their town/village,say yes, they know the hidden gems and you are sure to have the best time!
-Try all the food! You might be surprised and like it, or not, but you tried.
-Talk to strangers. It may feel odd in the beginning, but we are all just out here living!
-Take photo’s!! Post if you want, but these are mainly for you and your memories.
And lastly: Do it again!!

Reflecting on Tuesday night’s 100 Women Who Care meeting… what an incredible evening!

I’m proud to say I’ve been on the board since we restarted in October 2022 after the pandemic. As we approach our four-year anniversary, I’m amazed by what this group of generous women has accomplished together. We’ve raised approximately $155,000 for local charities in our community. What an incredible impact!

On Tuesday, Women in Transition was selected as our winning charity, and together we raised over $9,000 in one evening.

I’d love to see us push just a little further and reach the $10,000 mark! If you’d like to make a donation, you have until July 30. Every dollar will help Women in Transition build a new playground for the children staying at their facility—a space where they can play, heal, and simply be kids.

It’s amazing what can happen when women come together with a shared purpose. Thank you to everyone who continues to make a difference in our community. 💜

First day back in the office after a few weeks of working on my business from Europe. 🌍💼

One of the greatest blessings of building an incredible team is knowing that while I was away, our clients continued to receive the same level of care and service. We didn’t miss a beat.

Walking into the office today to fresh flowers was the perfect reminder: take time to stop and smell the flowers. Be present. 🌸

This trip reminded me that with the right plan, the right team, and the right systems in place, it’s possible to build a business that supports the life you want to live, not the other way around.

I was able to work while exploring Europe, creating memories I’ll treasure forever, and I don’t take that opportunity for granted.

That’s exactly why I’m so passionate about financial planning. Retirement isn’t just about someday. It’s about creating the freedom and flexibility to live your dreams, whenever that time comes.
