We capped off the summer with a final exciting Cowanchella event.

Coming together at the Cambridge office, we enjoyed music courtesy of (and DJ) Salah Hamad along with delicious food from the Fo’Cheezy food truck and a giant Kerplunk tournament. The uplifting atmosphere was filled with great conversations and friendly competition.

We’d like to commend the winners of the tournament, Qusai and Brayden. Congratulations on a game well-played!

As summer winds down, our Ottawa team came together for a favourite annual tradition: Make Your Own Ice Cream Sundae Day. The event offered a fun opportunity for colleagues to connect, enjoy a well-deserved break, and build their dream sundae with a variety of sweet toppings. More than just a seasonal treat, it was a chance to strengthen relationships, celebrate our team culture, and create memorable moments together.

Thank you to the Ottawa Events Committee for bringing this event to life and helping make our workplace a great place to connect, collaborate, and have fun.

Our third annual Backpack Drive was a great success. Thanks to the generosity of employees across our office locations, more children will start the school year with the supplies they need to succeed.

Together, we donated more than 40 backpacks filled with essential school supplies, along with lunch bags, water bottles, and pencil cases, helping more students start the school year ready to learn and thrive.

The organizations receiving these items are:
• Waterloo Regional Police 2026 Backpack Challenge
• Hamilton Police 2026 Fill the Pack Backpack Drive
• Brantford Community Resource Centre
• Various local charities in Woodstock

We’re grateful to for their collaboration and generosity. A special thank you to Vicky Brown, Leigh-Anne Minaker, Emily Huczek, Becky Winfield, and Jessica Pryse-Hamblin for exemplifying our values by running this event!

We proudly joined the 29th annual Golf Fore Nova Vita Charity Tournament at the Brantford Golf & Country Club. Operating in Brantford for over 40 years, Nova Vita Brant provides refuge, resources, and counselling to those impacted by violence or homelessness. This event gathered many in the community who believed in raising funds to support these services was vital.

Our representatives on the green were Scott Murray, Laura Cassidy, Jeff Memmott, and Kristen McSwain. Additionally, with their exceptional performance, this team secured the win at this tournament for a 3rd consecutive year!

Attending this event was a wonderful experience for our team and helped make a meaningful difference. We’re grateful to Nova Vita for the opportunity to contribute to a community where our employees live and work.
