The best part of what we do isn't the numbers...
It's helping people feel confident about their future.
Thank you for your trust over the years and for sharing your experience. I believe financial planning should be personal, tailored, and focused on what matters most to you and your family.
Feedback like this reminds me why I love what I do.

One of the best parts of what we do isn’t the business itself. It’s the relationships.
Helping connect people, solve challenges, and create opportunities is rewarding on its own. When those same connections help strengthen our community, it becomes something even more meaningful.
That’s a true win-win. ❤️

100 years ago today, IG established its first office in Canada.
Being part of a firm with a century‑long commitment to helping Canadians build financial well‑being is something I don’t take lightly—especially as our profession continues to evolve.
To mark this milestone, IG had the honour of ringing the opening bell at the TMX Group Market Centre this morning. It was a powerful reminder of the legacy behind the work we do every day and the responsibility that comes with it.
I’m proud to be part of a team that continues to focus on thoughtful planning, long‑term relationships, and helping clients navigate change with clarity and confidence.
Thank you to the employees, advisors, clients, and partners who have shaped this journey over the past 100 years. I’m grateful to play a small part in what comes next.

A common concept I reference in seminars and introductory meetings is that retirement unfolds in phases: the Go‑Go years, the Slow‑Go years, and the No‑Go years.
The Go‑Go years are often the most active, when life is full and spending tends to be higher.
The Slow‑Go years follow as priorities shift and the pace naturally eases, and eventually the No‑Go years, when simplicity, security, and care matter most.
If your financial plan is only evaluating a fixed monthly withdrawal rate across all of retirement, you may be looking at it from the wrong perspective.
The article below explores a common fear many retirees face once they stop working — a hesitation that can quietly reduce enjoyment during the years when time, health, and opportunity matter most. https://tinybfs.com/t/jHlRhH
