If you, or someone you know has 5 years plus of CNC machining experience, particularly with small batch sizes of high complexity, close tolerance components in a range of sometimes difficult.to-machine materials, we would be interested in hearing from you. We require one new employee for each shift: Day shift (Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm) and the 2nd shift (Monday-Thursday 3:30pm-1:30am, plus 10% shift premium and paid lunch break).

Qualifications and experience required:
• 5 years minimum CNC programming and machining experience – particularly Haas and Mazak VMCs and Mazak lathes
• Ability to set up, program and machine a part from a drawing with little or no assistance
• Experienced CNC Machinist; Certified Journeyman or equivalent
• Advanced experience with Mastercam and G-Code programming
• Experience with Mazak Mazatrol programming and controls
• Experience in the machining of complex ‘one off’ parts and prototypes an asset
• Experience in machining exotic materials, including Nitronic 50 and Beryllium Copper an asset
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Good communication skills
• A career-oriented team player who works well with other people
• Experience with machinery maintenance an asset
• Used to working with quality procedures and to ISO 9001.2015 standards
• Able to verify dimensions using measuring instruments
• Experience in completing full part inspections and inspection records
• Able to undertake job task planning and organizing
• Manual machining experience is an asset
• Strong in math, geometry
• English fluency
• Eligible to work in Canada
