⚠️ALERT: It’s tax season , and the CAFC is warning Canadians about a rise in phishing emails and texts impersonating the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). These messages may claim that you’re owed a refund and ask you to click on a link.

Reminder: The CRA won’t ask you to click on a link to view your Notice of Assessment (NOA). To view your NOA safely, sign in to your CRA Account directly through their official website: https://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-agency.html

The final Canada Carbon Rebate payment is coming on April 22nd.

To get your payment then, make sure to file online by April 2nd.

Can’t make this deadline? You’ll still get your payment once your taxes are assessed.

‼️ We will no longer accept direct deposit registrations or changes submitted via EFILE or by phone starting March 24th, 2025.

You can update your info quickly and easily through your CRA account or requesting it through your bank or credit union.
