স্পেনের বার্সেলোনায় আয়োজিত মোবাইল ওয়ার্ল্ড কংগ্রেস (এমডব্লিউসি) ২০২৬ মেলার পর্দা নেমেছে গতকাল বৃহস্পতিবার। জিএসএমএ আয়োজিত চার দিনের এই আন্তর্জাতিক প্রযুক্তি মেলায় বিভিন্ন প্রযুক্তিপ্রতিষ্ঠান নিজেদের তৈরি নতুন পণ্য ও প্রযুক্তি প্রদর্শন করেছে। স্মার্টফোনের প্রসেসর প্রযুক্তি দ্রুত অগ্রসর হলেও স্মার্ট ঘড়ির চিপসেট এত দিন তুলনামূলকভাবে পিছিয়ে ছিল। নতুন চিপ স্ন্যাপড্রাগন ওয়্যার এলিট সেই পরিস্থিতির পরিবর্তন ঘটাতে পারে বলে মনে করছেন প্রযুক্তি বিশ্লেষকেরা। চিপটি উন্মোচন করেছে কোয়ালকম। প্রতিষ্ঠানটির আগের সব স্মার্ট ওয়াচ চিপসেটের তুলনায় এটি আরও উন্নত।

চিপটিতে বড় ও ছোট কোরের সমন্বয়ে তৈরি ‘বিগ লিটল’ আর্কিটেকচার ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে। চিপটিতে কৃত্রিম বুদ্ধিমত্তা প্রক্রিয়াকরণের সুবিধাও যুক্ত করা হয়েছে। এতে ভবিষ্যতে স্মার্টওয়াচ ব্যবহারের অভিজ্ঞতা আরও উন্নত হতে পারে।

National Mathematics Festival 2026 to be held with only the winners of the regional mathematics festival

National Mathematics Festival Guidelines

· Students must attend the festival at St. Joseph Higher Secondary School, Mohammadpur, Dhaka (the school will be on the left hand side after moving a little from Asad Gate towards Mohammadpur Town Hall).

· On the day of the festival (March 7), they must be present at 8 am, the opening ceremony will be at 9 am and the examination will be at 9:45 am.

· The winners of the regional phase will have to collect the regional winner t-shirts and medals from the booths in their respective regions.

· Only students from Chittagong region will have to enter the venue wearing the regional winner t-shirts.

· Examination duration: Primary category 2 hours, Junior 2 hours 30 minutes, Secondary Higher Secondary 3 hours.

· At the end of the examination, students will leave the venue and iftar boxes will be provided to the students.

· No mobile phones, calculators or any digital devices will be allowed to be used during the examination.

· Students will have to bring their school ID card/salary receipt/admission receipt/certificate or annual examination result card (2025 or 2026) or any other proof.

· Pens, scales and pencils will be brought to the examination hall.

· Students will have to take care of their own travel and accommodation.

· Results will be published online (matholympiad.org.bd) at a later date.

· Prize distribution ceremony and camp will be organized for the winning students of the national phase at a later date.
