যারা টিআইএন থাকা সত্ত্বেও এখন পর্যন্ত আয়কর রিটার্ন জমা দেননি (প্রায় ৮৬ লাখ), তাদের জন্য জাতীয় রাজস্ব বোর্ড চেয়ারম্যানের দুঃসংবাদ হচ্ছে, রিটার্ন খেলাপীদের ট্রেস করা হয়েছে এবং ইতিমধ্যে তাদের বাসায় নোটিশ প্রেরণ করা শুরু হয়েছে। আয়কর অফিস তাদের আয়ের উৎস খতিয়ে দেখে তাদের দিয়ে আয়কর রিটার্ন দাখিল করানোর পাশাপাশি আয়কর সংগ্রহ করবে।

টিআইএন থাকলে আয়কর রিটার্ন দিতে হবে এটা এখন আর কারোই অজানা নয়। যারা দেরি করবেন, তারা শুধু জল ঘোলা করে খাওয়ার মতো অবস্থার শিকার হবেন। অতএব, আয়কর অফিস থেকে নোটিশ পাবার আগেই দ্রুত আপনার আয়কর রিটার্ন দাখিল করুণ।

জাতীয় রাজস্ব বোর্ডের চেয়ারম্যানের স্পষ্ট নির্দেশনা হচ্ছে, জমি রেজিস্ট্রেশন করার সময় সকল প্রকার আয়কর দিতে হবে জমির বিক্রেতাকে। বিক্রেতা যেহেতু জমি বিক্রি করে অনেক লাভবান হচ্ছেন, তাই রেজিস্ট্রেশন সংক্রান্ত গেইন ট্যাক্স তাকেই দিতে হবে।

রেজিস্ট্রেশন এর সময় আয়কর নেওয়ার সিস্টেম বাতিল হলেও জমি বিক্রেতাকে আয়কর রিটার্ন দেওয়ার সময় সেই আয়কর প্রদান করতে হবে।

অনেকেরই জমি ক্রয়-বিক্রয় এর স্নময় এই অতিরিক্ত আয়কর নিয়ে নানান অভিযোগ ছিল, সেই সমস্যা নিরসনে এখন এনবিআর সিস্টেম পরিবর্তন করতে যাচ্ছে।

আগামী অর্থ বছরে আয়কর নিয়ে বিভিন্ন নতুন আইন আসতে যাচ্ছে। ফলে যারা জমির বিক্রেতা আছেন, তারা নতুন সিস্টেম চালু হবার আগেই বিক্রি করে ফেলতে পারেন।

আয়কর রিটার্ন দাখিলের সময় শেষ হচ্ছে আজ রাত ১২ টায়

জাতীয় রাজস্ব বোর্ড ২০২৫-২০২৬ করবর্ষের জন্য কিছু ব্যতিক্রম ছাড়া সকল ব্যক্তি শ্রেণির করদাতা কর্তৃক অনলাইনে আয়কর রিটার্ন দাখিল বাধ্যতামূলক করেছে। ইতোমধ্যে আয়কর রিটার্ন দাখিলের জন্য জাতীয় রাজস্ব বোর্ডের ই-রিটার্ন সিস্টেমে ৫০ লাখের বেশী ব্যক্তি শ্রেণির করদাতা নিবন্ধন করেছেন এবং ৪২ লাখ ৫০ হাজারের বেশী করদাতা ২০২৫-২০২৬ করবর্ষের রিটার্ন অনলাইনে দাখিল করেছেন।
এবছর ব্যক্তি শ্রেণির করদাতাদের রিটার্ন দাখিলের সময়সীমা ৩১ মার্চ ২০২৬ পর্যন্ত বৃদ্ধি করা হয়েছে। তবে, ব্যক্তি করদাতাগণ ৩১ মার্চ ২০২৬ এর রাত ১২ পর্যন্ত লিখিত আবেদন করলে সংশ্লিষ্ট কর কমিশনার রিটার্ন দাখিলের জন্য অতিরিক্ত ৯০ দিন পর্যন্ত সময় অনুমোদন করতে পারেন।
রিটার্ন দাখিলের জন্য সময় বৃদ্ধির আবেদন এবং অতিরিক্ত সময়ের অনুমোদনের কাজটি সহজ, দ্রুত, স্বচ্ছ এবং স্বস্তিদায়ক করার লক্ষ্যে পুরো প্রক্রিয়াটি সম্পন্ন করার জন্য জাতীয় রাজস্ব বোর্ড অনলাইন সিস্টেম চালু করেছে। করদাতাগণ এখন সহজেই ই-রিটার্ন সিস্টেমে লগইন করে "Time Extension" মেন্যু ব্যবহারের মাধ্যমে অনলাইনে রিটার্ন দাখিলের জন্য সময় বৃদ্ধির আবেদন করতে পারছেন।
জরিমানা বা অতিরিক্ত কর প্রদান এড়াতে জাতীয় রাজস্ব বোর্ড সকল সম্মানিত ব্যক্তি করদাতাগণকে ই-রিটার্ন সিস্টেম ব্যবহার করে রিটার্ন দাখিলের শেষ তারিখ ৩১ মার্চ ২০২৬ তারিখ রাত ১২ টার মধ্যে রিটার্ন দাখিলের জন্য বিশেষভাবে অনুরোধ করছে। তবে কেউ উক্ত সময়ের মধ্যে রিটার্ন দাখিলে অপারগ হলে যৌক্তিক কারণ উল্লেখ করে অনলাইনে ৩১ মার্চ ২০২৬ তারিখ রাত ১২ টার মধ্যে সর্বোচ্চ ৯০ দিন সময়বৃদ্ধির আবেদন দাখিল করতে পারবেন। তবে, যারা অনলাইনে ই-রিটার্ন সিস্টেমে নিবন্ধন করেন নাই তারা নিবন্ধন করত সময় বৃদ্ধির আবেদন করতে পারবেন।
