We are seeking an in-house, Assistant Accountant to join our friendly and professional team.

💼 ABOUT THE ROLE
The position will involve:
• Preparing financial accounts, tax returns and BAS
• Financial administration
• Liaising with the ATO
• Working with a diverse range of clients
• Providing general accounting and client support

⭐ ABOUT YOU
Ideally, you will have:
• Experience in accounting and tax preparation software
• Proficiency in Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, Microsoft Suite
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• A client-focused and team-oriented approach
• A friendly, easy-going attitude and willingness to learn

Relevant experience is highly valued.
💰 Salary: Negotiable based on experience and qualifications
🕐 Hours: Full-time or part-time

Barambah Business Services Pty Ltd is a long-time established accounting firm in Wondai, which services the South Burnett. We are currently seeking an Assistant Accountant/Bookkeeper.

The role will consist of the following:
- Preparing financial accounts, tax returns and BAS for sole traders, partnerships, trusts and companies;
- Liaising with the ATO;
- Performing a wide variety of tasks for a wide range of clients.

The ideal candidate would have the following:
- Experience in tax return preparation software, preferably but not limited to Xero;
- Proficient in Xero, myob, Excel, Word and Quickbooks;
- Strong organisational and communication skills;
- Client focused;
- Willingness to work as a team;
- Easy going and eager to assist;
- A university graduate or currently studying part-time

No qualifications are necessary; however experience would be highly desirable.

Salary to be determined on experience and qualifications.

This will be a full-time position.
