Austi Bookkeeping is hiring! We're on the hunt for our next gun Senior Bookkeeper to join our team - this is an immediate start, full time position working out of our office located in Corrimal, Wollongong.
You're highly experienced, fast, and thorough. You take initiative, follow through, are curious and love problem solving. You love to multi task, and will be involved with the accounts of multiple clients, gaining valuable insight into how businesses operate across multiple industries.
You’ll join a supportive, female-led team that values initiative, integrity, and clear communication. We operate with strong systems, structured onboarding, and collaborative support - so you can thrive working independently while feeling part of a close-knit team.
What we're looking for:
· Strong hands-on Xero & MYOB experience (including Payroll, AP/AR, and management reporting)
· An excellent grasp of bookkeeping processes and compliance requirements with high attention to detail.
· Sound knowledge of payroll tax, superannuation, and BAS requirements
· Solid Excel skills are advantageous, along with the other Microsoft Office products
· Experience with DEXT preferred but not essential
· Confident written and verbal communicator with clients, external stakeholders and colleagues.
· Professional, reliable, and proactive - you follow through and meet deadlines
· Patient and capable mentor for junior staff
· Comfortable working to time budgets and managing shifting priorities
· A minimum of Certificate III in Bookkeeping/Accounting or higher is required, or a Registered BAS Agent certification.
