Revenue is growing. But is your business actually getting stronger?

Revenue is only part of the story.

Cash flow can tighten. Margins can shrink. Tax obligations can increase pressure. And a business can look successful from the outside while becoming harder to manage underneath.

The key is understanding what your numbers are really telling you, and whether your current decisions are supporting the business you’re building.

Because growth in revenue doesn’t always mean growth in strength.

Read our latest article to explore the numbers business owners should be watching beyond the top line.

There’s something special about a client relationship that stands the test of time.

“Patrick and his team offer comprehensive and insightful advice. Specific issues are dealt with efficiently and effectively. We are one of Patrick’s first clients and his firm is proactive. Our longstanding relationship is testament to this.”

We’re incredibly grateful for clients who have trusted us from the beginning and continue to work alongside us as their businesses, families and circumstances evolve.

Thank you for trusting us over the years. 🌿

Good advice starts with the right conversation.

The first step is understanding where you’re at, what’s changing and what decisions are coming up.

From there, we work out whether advisory support actually makes sense.

If it does, we’ll show you what the next step looks like.

If it doesn’t, we’ll tell you.

No pressure. No unnecessary work. Just a clear conversation about what you actually need.

That’s the first step. 🌿

Meet Jess 👋

Some of you may have had the pleasure of liaising with our wonderful Office Manager, Jess.

Jess plays an important role in keeping New Leaf Advisory running smoothly. From coordinating office operations and client communication to supporting our Director and team with the day-to-day details, she helps keep everything organised and moving forward.

With a Bachelor of Commerce specialising in Management, a Diploma in Human Resource Management and four years’ experience working in accounting firms, Jess brings a great mix of organisation, experience and people skills to the role.

We’re lucky to have her as part of the NLA team. 🌿

If you’ve spoken with Jess, you’ll know she’s often the person making sure things happen behind the scenes.

Estate planning is about more than your Will.

For families with businesses, trusts, property, superannuation and other significant assets, what happens to those assets can have important tax consequences.

That’s why legal and tax advice need to work together when planning for the future.

We’ve worked with Solari & Stock to put together a practical guide covering some of the questions families should be asking — including family trusts, company shares, superannuation, testamentary trusts and beneficiaries.

Because understanding the tax implications before decisions are made can make a significant difference.

Has your financial structure kept up with your success?

Growth can create exposure quietly.

More assets.
More entities.
More complexity.
More decisions.

And the structure that worked five or ten years ago may no longer be the right fit.

What once felt simple can become restrictive, creating unnecessary tax, risk and complexity as your circumstances evolve.

Your structure should evolve with you.

At New Leaf Advisory, we look at the bigger picture to help ensure your ownership, tax, superannuation and succession arrangements continue to support where you’re going.

Because growth isn’t just about building more. It’s about making sure what you’ve built is structured properly.

The faces behind New Leaf. 🌿

These are the people you’ll actually be dealing with when you work with us.

The ones answering your questions, working through the numbers, solving problems, challenging assumptions and helping you make better financial decisions.

We know our clients.
We know their businesses.
And we know that good advice starts with a good relationship.

So, here we are, the people behind the advice.

What we actually do.

We don’t look at your tax return, super, business structure or succession plans in isolation.

We look at how the pieces fit together.

Because when your financial affairs become more complex, decisions in one area can have consequences somewhere else.

Our advisory approach is built around three things:

01 | Understand the structure
We examine ownership, entities and inter-relationships as one connected picture.

02 | Model before making decisions
We test strategies, tax positions, timing and potential exposures before action is taken.

03 | Keep reviewing
Advisory isn’t just something you need when a major decision comes up. We establish a structured cadence so your financial position continues to align with your longer-term objectives.

The goal? Greater clarity. Better-connected decisions. Fewer surprises.

That’s what we mean by advisory.
