So we created our own Unofficial Australian Mini Census. 330 Australians. 25 questions the Census would never ask.

We found a Sudocrem tub older than some of our respondents’ driver’s licences, a national divide over Bunnings trips and evidence that inbox-zero belongs to the over-60s.

The results were a reminder that there really is no such thing as an average Australian, which is exactly why understanding people beyond the obvious matters.
