Many families spend years focused on building wealth.
Far fewer spend the same amount of time preparing the people who will one day inherit it.
A successful wealth transfer is about more than structures, documents and investments. It's about helping the next generation understand the values, responsibilities and purpose behind the wealth you've created.
The strongest legacies don't just transfer assets. They transfer knowledge, confidence and capability.
Swipe through to explore the conversations every family should be having long before wealth changes hands.
If you're thinking about your family's future, we'd welcome a conversation.

Many families spend decades building wealth, yet the greatest challenge is often preserving the relationships behind it.
Wealth can be measured and managed. Family dynamics are more complex.
In her latest blog, Karen Haaroff explores why family harmony is often harder to preserve than wealth itself, and how structured conversations, family meetings and professional guidance can help families navigate intergenerational wealth transfer with greater clarity and confidence.
Whether you're managing family wealth, planning for succession, or preparing the next generation for responsibility, these conversations matter.

Last Friday, the Boutique team came together at Flight Club Perth for an evening of darts, dinner and great company.
From impressive bullseyes to questionable throwing techniques, there were plenty of laughs along the way. Most importantly, it was a chance to step away from our desks, connect with colleagues and enjoy time together as a team.
A great night all round. Thanks to our Social Club for organising another fantastic team event.

You've built the business together. Have you built the wealth together?
When we talk about business success, the focus is often on founders, investors and growth.
But what about the partner behind the scenes?
The one who supported the long hours, navigated uncertain income, put their own career plans on hold, managed the family, and provided stability while the business was being built.
In his latest article, Damien Quirk explores a question many founders never stop to ask: If the wealth was built together, has it been structured that way?
As entrepreneurial wealth becomes increasingly concentrated in business equity, share options and future liquidity events, it's worth considering whether both partners have genuine financial security in their own right.
A valuable read for founders, business owners and families and what financial success really means.

Last night, we were delighted to host clients for a screening of The Wizard of the Kremlin at Windsor Cinemas, with plenty of opportunity to connect over refreshments and conversation before the movie.
Despite the wet weather, it was wonderful to see so many clients join us for an evening of connection, entertainment and shared experiences.
At Boutique Advisers, strong relationships are at the heart of what we do. Events like these provide an opportunity to step away from the day-to-day, connect outside the office, and thank our clients for the trust they place in us.
We value the relationships we've built and are grateful for the opportunity to support our clients through every stage of their financial journey.
Thank you to everyone who joined us. We look forward to the next one.

Great conversations can shape future careers.
Recently, Diane Freeman - Private Wealth Adviser, and Nicole Wieman - Advice & Operations Manager, represented Boutique at the Striver Brimstone Speed Networking Event in Perth.
The event gave students the opportunity to connect directly with industry professionals, ask questions, gain insights, and build relationships that may help shape their future careers.
We enjoyed meeting so many engaged and motivated students and sharing insights into the financial advice profession, career pathways, and the value of building meaningful professional connections early.

Last week, the first group from our team spent the day volunteering with Little Things for Tiny Tots, our 2026 Philanthropic Fund charity partner.
Together, the team sorted donations, packed nappies, prepared baby boxes and helped get essential items ready for distribution to families across WA. It was a rewarding opportunity to contribute to an organisation making a meaningful difference in the lives of babies and families doing it tough.
This is the first of two volunteering sessions, with our second team scheduled to lend a hand in November.
We're also proud to be supporting Little Things for Tiny Tots through our upcoming Quiz Night fundraiser. If you'd like to join us and help make an impact, secure your tickets via the link below.
