An update from our Chief Investment Officer - Jarryd Thraves:
As we close out the 2025–26 financial year, we’re pleased to share the strong performance delivered by our SMA portfolios across the full range of risk profiles.
When compared broadly against investment options from some of Australia’s largest superannuation funds, our SMA portfolios delivered higher annual returns across every risk profile assessed to 30 June 2026.
What makes these results particularly encouraging is that, in the majority of the comparisons, this performance was achieved while maintaining lower exposure to growth assets — highlighting the strength of the portfolio construction and investment approach.
From conservative through to high growth, the results demonstrate that our SMA offering remains highly competitive.
Performance figures are for the 12 months to 30 June 2026. Comparisons are based on selected investment options with broadly comparable growth-asset exposures. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future performance. Investment returns and capital values can fluctuate.

Planning for the future is about more than finances—it's about creating confidence, security and peace of mind for individuals and their families.
Our Adviser, Peta Winkless, recently had the privilege of presenting at the Future Planning Forum hosted by Future Living Australia, sharing insights into the important role financial advice plays in helping families plan for the future with confidence.
A big thank you to Future Living Australia, Crosslinks and Carers WA for hosting such a valuable event and creating a supportive space for meaningful conversations. We were proud to be part of a forum that empowered carers and families with practical information and guidance for what's ahead.

Important reminder for retirees at EOFY:
If you draw a pension from your super, minimum pension payments must generally be made before 30 June.
Missing the minimum drawdown requirement can have tax and administrative consequences, and it can’t always be fixed afterwards.
If you’re unsure whether you’re on track, it’s worth checking in, sooner rather than later.
Please contact us if you’d like us to review this with you.

Thinking about topping up your super before 30 June?
In many cases, making personal contributions to super before EOFY can help reduce taxable income whilst boosting retirement savings.
With personal income tax rates set to be slightly lower from next financial year, acting this financial year may offer more value for some people, but the rules can be detailed and age‑dependent.
✔️ Contribution caps
✔️Eligibility rules
✔️Timing (contributions must be received before 30 June)
A short conversation with us today can help avoid regret later.

Case Study: Financial Advice During Separation
Separation can be complex—emotionally and financially. Seeking advice early can make a significant difference to long‑term outcomes. By working closely with experienced Perth family lawyers, we help clients make informed decisions and protect their financial future.
In this case, we supported a woman in her mid‑50s separating from her retired spouse in his early 70s. She was still working and contributing to superannuation, while he relied on a retirement income stream. Their assets included the former family home, a rental property, and inherited shares held by our client with potential capital gains tax considerations.
Our client wanted to retain the home for stability and was reluctant to take on debt. Initially, she planned to sell her shares. After careful analysis and collaboration with her lawyer, we recommended transferring part of the shareholding to her former partner, as his lower tax position produced a more favourable overall outcome.
This tailored strategy helped our client retain her home, reduce tax, and move forward with confidence—highlighting the value of professional financial advice during separation.
This case study is for illustrative purposes only and reflects one client’s circumstances. Outcomes will differ depending on individual situations.
