About Me
Growing up as child and into my teen years, I always wanted to be an RAAF Fighter Pilot. Shortly after being awarded a scholarship with Ansett to commence flying training, it abruptly ended with the closure of Ansett and medical issues prohibited me from joining the RAAF.
My journey to become a Chartered Accountant started at this point after taking some career guidance and joining the ranks of the Big 4 after attending Curtin University in Western Australia – since then I haven’t looked back.
The thing I love about being a Chartered Accountant is the opportunities it provides me to help business owners across Australia. With a focus on tax compliance and bookkeeping, my goal is to help relieve the administration burden faced by small business and to help them understand their numbers.
Stewart Private Accounting was formed in September 2019 after acquiring my employer’s business. My wife Sonya Stewart joins me as the Client Service Manager and together we service a wide range of clients across various industries.
