ποΈ TPAR Time β Is Your Business Ready to Lodge by 28 August?
If your business pays contractors for services, it's worth checking whether you need to lodge a Taxable Payments Annual Report (TPAR) with the ATO this year.
You may need to report if you operate in:
π₯οΈ Information Technology services
ποΈ Building & Construction services
π Security, Investigation or Surveillance services
π§Ή Cleaning services
π Road Freight & Courier services
Contractors can include subcontractors, consultants and independent contractors. This applies whether they operate as sole traders, companies, partnerships or trusts.
π
TPARs are due by 28 August.
Already set up for Standard Business Reporting (SBR) through Xero? You can lodge straight from your file. Not set up, or not sure if this applies to you? Our team can help you check and get it sorted before the deadline.

π― What does your super look like at 50, 55 and 60?
For most of your working life, super sits quietly in the background. Then you hit your fifties, and it becomes the thing you think about most, because this is the decade where your choices have the biggest effect on how you finish.
At 50, it's about taking stock and using the catch-up rules. At 55, it's the acceleration point, pressure-testing the plan while there's still time to compound. At 60, the rules open up, and super starts shifting from something you build to something you use.
For our farming and business clients, there's an extra layer: it's easy to let a good season pull every spare dollar back into the enterprise, leaving super thin at exactly the stage it should be filling out. Super is the part of your wealth that's personally yours, portable, and not riding on the next season.

The NSW Government's Farms of the Future team is bringing a free, in-person Agtech Fundamentals workshop to our region, designed to give farmers clear, independent guidance and outcomes you can put to work straight away.
More than 1,300 farmers across NSW have already completed this training to better understand farm connectivity, the technology available, and how Agtech can support everyday decisions on farm.
What you'll get out of it:
β
Clarity on your farm's Agtech needs and opportunities
β
Access to the Agtech Toolbox, with 50+ vetted suppliers
β
A plain-English guide to subscriptions and connectivity terms
β
The start of your own Agtech plan
β
The right questions to ask before choosing a supplier
The heart of the workshop is building your own Farm Monitoring Plan: mapping your property, identifying your pain points, and matching them to the technology and connectivity that actually solves them.
