Super rules were largely left alone in this year's Budget, but the environment around retirement planning is shifting.
From 1 July, contribution caps have risen, payday super has commenced, and Division 296 now applies to balances above $3 million.
There's also a meaningful change to how assets inside super compare to those held outside it.
