There is always a lot of excitement about Budget Night, and much more to digest the next day.

I personally had hoped more for small business and innovation/start-ups. We should expect more ATO compliance action and celebrate the extension of the Instant Asset Write Off and Super on Paid Parental Leave.

The Stage 3 tax cuts and energy rebate for both individuals & business are most welcomed.

Small business owners will need to be more mindful of cashflow with BAS refunds extended to 30 days.

An estimated 13.6 million taxpayers will receive the restructured stage three tax cut package and there is just over $1B for aged care, cost of medicine frozen and some money for housing.
