Monthly BAS snuck up on you again? πŸ‘€

If you're lodging and paying your August 2026 business activity statement yourself, it's due 21 September.

A BAS (business activity statement) is your regular report to the ATO covering GST and other taxes - and yes, it comes around faster than you think.

DM us if you want someone to take this off your plate for good.

β€œCan I claim my expensive handbag?” πŸ‘€

Tax time shouldn’t be the first time you’re asking this question.

Getting advice throughout the year means you can make smarter decisions before you spend the money, not find out at tax time that something wasn’t deductible.

A little advice now can save a lot of confusion later. Book a call now and we can answer all your questions πŸ’»

DIY bookkeeping sounds like a good way to save money… until it starts costing you time, money and your sanity πŸ˜‚

Your time is better spent running your business, not chasing receipts, reconciling transactions and wondering if you’ve coded something correctly.

Sometimes the cheapest option isn’t actually the cheapest.

Let us take bookkeeping off your plate so you can focus on the work that actually makes you money πŸ’»

9 years ago, Natalie started Two Sides with a pretty simple belief - small business owners deserve an accountant who actually shows up. πŸŽ‰

Not just at tax time. Not just when something goes wrong. All year round, in your corner, across your numbers.

Nine years later, that hasn't changed. What has changed is the incredible community of business owners we've had the privilege of working alongside - the ones who trusted us with their finances, their stress, and honestly, sometimes their sanity. πŸ˜…

Nat started this because she wanted to do things differently. No jargon. No fear. No leaving clients confused. Just clear, proactive support that actually makes a difference.

To every client who's been part of the Two Sides story - thank you. We genuinely wouldn't be here without you

POV: Your accountant actually stays across your numbers all year β€” not just at tax time.

Here's what working with Two Sides actually looks like. πŸ‘‡

Your accountant shouldn't hear from you like a desperate ex every June 🀣

One of the biggest mistakes we see is business owners only reaching out when tax time is around the corner.

The best results come from regular conversations throughout the year, not a last-minute panic in June.

Better planning = fewer surprises, less stress, and more confidence in your numbers.

If you’re ready to have clarity, confidence, and a cleaner set of books in 2026, we’re here. Send us a DM or book a call πŸ’»πŸ’¬

Most business owners come to us after a year of flying blind. πŸ˜…

Guessing what to put aside for tax. Scrambling at BAS time. Wondering if their Xero is even set up right.

That's exactly what we're here to fix.

Working with Two Sides means you get a proactive accountant in your corner all year - not just someone who shows up at 30 June and tells you what you owe.

We keep your Xero clean, tell you what to set aside, flag issues early, and explain everything in plain language. So you can actually run your business without the financial anxiety in the background.

New financial year starts 1 July. If you've been thinking about making a change, now is literally the best time to do it.

πŸ‘‰ DM us "NEW FY" and let's have a chat.

July is a big month for your business finances. Here's what to have on your radar πŸ‘‡

πŸ“… 1 July - New financial year kicks off. Payday Super also starts today, meaning super must hit your employees' fund within 7 business days of every payday (not quarterly anymore).

πŸ“… 14 July - STP finalisation due. This is your Single Touch Payroll wrap-up for the 2025/26 year, so your team can access their income statements and lodge their tax returns.

πŸ“… 21 July - Monthly Activity Statements due.

πŸ“… 28 July - Q4 Income Tax instalments due. This is also the deadline for your Q4 super contributions if you haven't already paid them.

New financial year = fresh start. If you've been meaning to get your Xero sorted or want to hand off the juggle, now's a great time.
